The article shows the possibility of using the methodology of paradigms to analyze the development of scientific ideas about the regularity of corporate growth. The article highlights the paradigms of corporate growth. The research revealed three growth paradigms: the causal paradigm, the growth outcome paradigm and the process paradigm. Two problems are solved: the classification of theories and models of firm growth and the definition of research areas for each paradigm. At present, the process of the formation of a new, integration paradigm of growth focused on the study of inter-organizational integration processes is underway.
